HIGH-TEMPERATURE DEFORMATION AND RECRYSTALLIZATION OF 12MnTiNb STEEL

By means of rolling deformation, thi(?) paper describes the hot deformation and recrystallization of 12MnTiNb and 16Mn steels with optical microscope analysis, and the precipitation of fine carbonitride resulted from high temperature deformation and its effect on dynamic recrystallization. The results show that there is no precipitation in 16Mn steel, so the parameter Z can be used to describe the effect of temperature and rate of deformation on the hot deformation behaviour. However, the parameter Z(Z=ε exp(Q/RT)) can not be appled to the 12MnTiNb steel, because the carbide deformation-induced in this s(?)eel affect the temperature and rate of deformation are different.
