EFFECT OF DEVOLATILIZATION OF COAL IN IRON ORE CONCENTRATE AND PULVERIZED COAL COMPOSITE ON REDUCTION

In iron ore concentrate and pulverized coal composite, the volatile of coal is thermally cracked into H_2 and C above 700℃. The reduction of iron ore by H_2 plays an important role at 700~900℃. and the reduction by C begins above 900℃. The higher temperature and heating rate, the more volatile amount, the higher cracking velocity and higher reduction rate of iron ore are.
