STAINLESS STEEL CONTAINING NITROGEN MELTED BY PRESSURIZED PLASMA

Austenitic chromium manganese stainless steel with 0.57%~0.74% nitrogen, melted by pressurized plasma, has high tensile strength and yield point. The steel has also high corrosion resistance. The steel can be used for retaining rings, wear components of electrical appliances. Some applications are envisaged, particularly in aviation industry and ocean engineering.
