INVESTIGATION OF CLADDING BRASS WITH STEEL BY COLD ROLLING

In this paper, the investigation has been carried out on the mechanism of cladding H62 copper alloy with 08A1 steel by cold rolling. The key point has been found that a double easy-to-compound layer must be built by electroplating on the surface of H62 so that the fracture of brass surface and extrusion of virgin base metal up through the cracks can be prevented successfully.
