INVESTIGATION OF COAL COMBUSTION EFFICIENCY FOR MIXED INJECTION IN BF

The effect of some factors on the coal combustion efficiency is investigated in mixed injection condition. A quantitative relation is established by orthogonal design of laboratory test and analysis of the results with polynomial regression. It is clear that the coal combustion efficiency is significantly reduced if uncombustible material is dryly mixed with pulverized coal and the more the uncombustible material added the lower the coal combustion efficiency is. Among the added materials, the effect of dolomite fine is the worst. When the content of added uncombustible fine is less than 10% the combustion efficiency of bituminous coal powder mixed with added fine is still equal to or better than anthracite powder.
