TEMPERATURE PROFILE RESEARCH FOR FLANGED STAVE OF BLAST FURNACE

A three-dimensional heat transfer program in the cylinder coordinate system had been developed. Using this program, the temperature profile for flanged stave of blast furnace has been calculated in given conditions and in the same time, the influence of heat transfer coefficient in the furnace, velocity of the cooling water, distance between two pipes, and thickness of the lining has been studied. In addition, the effect of radius of the stave is discussed.
