TECHNICAL PROGRESS IN COAL BLENDING FOR COKING AT BAOSTEEL

HU Desheng WU Xinci MAO Jianjun CAO Jin (Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd )  
During last 17 years the coke quality has been improved step by step so that the maximum coal injection rate has been 261 kg/t and annual average 200 kg/t since 1999. The coke quality improvement based on the technical progress in coal blending is reviewed briefly and summarized.
