Simulation Analysis of Microstructure Evolution of Non-Quenched and Tempered Cold Forging Steel During the Process of Reducing Sizing Mill

In order to predict the structure and property of non-quenched and tempered cold forging steel,the finite element software MSC.Marc was developed,Finite element models for reducing sizing mill reducing sizing mill(RSM) of non-quenched and tempered cold forging steel was set up.Subroutines of non-quenched and tempered steel microstructure evolution were exploited,and structure property variable law of non-quenched and tempered steel during RSM process was investigated.The results indicate that only static recrystallization happens during reducing and sizing rolling,and grain sizes gradually increase from the surface to the center.
