Structure of Rings and Ring-Forming Mechanism of Rotary Pelletizing Kiln

The ring formation in rotary kiln is not only relevant with heat transfer process,but also related to materials conveying,release of volatiles and combustion and other physical and chemical reaction. Through analyzing the reasons of ring formation,a series of control measures was present to eliminate ring-formation. The result shows that coal can not only affect the temperature of rotary kiln,but make the character of ring change during the ring formation process. With coal content increase,the melting point of ring declines; meanwhile promoting powder consolidation,which can accelerate the formation of ring.
