RESEARCH ON COMBUSTION CATALYSTS FOR PULVERIZED COAL INJECTED INTO BF

This paper studied the effects of various additions and their contents on combustion property of pulverized coal by SEMA, XRDA and measuring combustion efficiency of combustion products, The results showed that the additions of CaCO3 and Ca (OH)2 increased combustion efficiency of bituminous by 1%~3%and anthracite by 10%~17%and the best addition content is 5%~7%of full coal.The addition mixing with a little of CaCl2 or FeCl3 is a good combustion catalysts for pulverized coal injected into blast furnace. Pulverized coal catalytic combustion reaction follows the oxygen transfering mechanism for oxidation-reduction.
