THERMOELASTOHYDRODYNAMIC(THED) METHOD FOR HIGH SPEED HEAVY LOAD JOURNAL BEARING

The thermoelastohydrodynamic(THED)behavior of a high speed heavy load journal bearing is studied A finite difference method is used to solve the Reynolds,energy,Laplace heat conduction,elasticity equations and Reolands viscosity temperature and pressure relation simultaneously As a result,the static characteristics of the hydrodynamic lubricated journal bearing that works under the high speed and heavy load conditions,such as,load,oil flow and frictional force are obtained In contract to the experiment,it is approved that the calculating program is applicable
