Tidal Characteristics and Navigation Condition of Tianjin Binhai New Area

We establish sea area tide two-dimensional mathematic model which covers Tianjin New Port,Port Area of Haihe River Estuary,Coastal Industrial Area and South Port Industrial Area etc,then verify the model with actual tidal current and sea level data.When the calculated result is basically consistent with the actually measured data,i.e.the error meeting the precision requirement,through tidal current mathematic model,we simulate and analyze the tide distribution within the neighboring sea area before/after project construction,evaluate the navigation conditions of main port area and the entrance of approach channel comprehensively.
