The Effect of Different Sowing Time on Yield of Qianku 2(a Duck Wheat Variety) in High Altitude Areas

Qianku 2,a duck wheat variety,was tested to study the effect of different sowing time on its yield to improve its yield potentiality.The results showed that the yield decreased with delay of sowing time and the optimum sowing time was on 4,April.The high yield(3383.33kg/hm2) could be obtained because of suitable plant height,more nodosities and branches of main stem and high 1000-grain weight and grain weight per plant when the sowing time was on 4,April.Qianku 2 can be planted in the middle ten days of April to avoid night frost.
