STUDY ON PROPER BURDENTOSPACING RATIO OF BLASTHOLES FOR SMOOTH BLASTING

Based on the mechanism of smooth blasting and on the principle of optimum forming fissure and fragmentation degree,the value of optimum burden-to-spacing ratio of blastholes is analyzed.The calculation indication that the optimum burden to spacing ratio is 0.95～1.20,and the proper range is from 0.7 to 1.3.The result fits the lab model test and industrial test on working sits.The related formulas and data in the paper may be for reference people on the working sits.
