On the Narration of the Female Discourse Power in the Journal of Shanghai Women

The lack of women's discourse power arises from the absolute control of discourse power by men.In the late of 1930 s,various media of Shanghai"island",as the representative of the male discourse,exhibited a collective silent condition.Shanghai Women magazine,which had an extensive coverage of women's life,organized women's participation in the Anti-Japanese activities,strengthened the communication between women,and constructed the female position and women's right to speak in the media text.
