On the Study of the Malaise of Modernity in H·G·Wells' Science Fiction

H·G·Wells is a famous writer of science fiction,a seer,a writer of social novels,an educationist,a thinker,a historian and a social activist.As a prolific writer,he is best known for his science fiction.He integrates artistic imagination,scientific warning with social criticism in his writing as a means of expressing his concern and thinking about the modern society and human life,which is inspirational and rich in meaning.From the perspective of modernity and H·G·Wells' social background,the paper explores the author's concerns about the malaise of modernity and his deep thinking about the modern society and human destiny.
