On the Exploration and Practice of Research-based Teaching of “Modern History of China”

In recent years,the course of"Modern History of China"has made some exploration and practice of research-based teaching.To cultivate students' research ability,we have built a basic mode composed of several projects,including project teaching,research learning,and independent reading.Project teaching considers both the students' interest in learning and the teachers' interest in researching,the integrity and systematic of knowledge,and the differences between similar public courses.Research learning includes preliminary preparation,topic selection,opening and conclusion,with obvious results.Independent reading is semi-mandatory,requiring reading notes and teachers' correction.There are still many deficiencies in the research-based teaching of the"Modern History of China",there are some subjective and objective problems in the teaching mode,and the cooperation of the three projects needs to be improved constantly.
