纵墙承重建筑的抗震加固和改造

In this paper,seismic analysis of a strengthened and reconstructed building with longitudinal load-bearing walls located on the firm ground in the region of earthquake intensity 7 is performed.The original building is a four-story brick masonry structure,after strengthening and reconstruction it becomes a six-story building with skip floor.Based on the National Code for Seismic Design of Building Structures(GBJ11-89),the earthquake resistant behavior of the original and reconstructed building was examined.The results showed that the shearing strength of a part of transverse walls was not sufficient.Therefore additional elasto-plastic deformation analysis and collapse state estimation was performed.When the very rarely occurred earthquake in region with intensity 7 is encountered,under the synthetic seismic wave developed according to the standard response spectrum of firm ground,the deflection of the reconstructed building appears on the descending part of the load-deflection curve.While under EL-Centro wave,both original and reconstructed building will collapse.As the EL-Centro wave represents earthquake occurred on medium to soft ground,the reconstructed building is considered to be capable to withstand design earquake,but with a low degree of safety.Engineering measures to improve the earthquake resistance of the reconstructed building is suggested.
