Influences of Soil-Pile-Structure Interaction on Seismic Response of Continuous Bridge

With the seismic isolation technology is widely used in bridge structure,reasonable bridge model is very important for seismic isolation analysis.Taking one continuous steel box girder bridge as research object,three kinds of finite element models of that bridge are established:first one,all piers bottom fixed without consider pile and soil;second one,with M method pile;third one,use nonlinear finite element model of pile-soil.Then time history analysis of the three models before and after seismic isolation when subjected to El-Centro wave at the longitudinal and lateral side of the bridge are made respectively,seismic responses are compared and analyzed to find out the effects of soil-pile-bridge structure dynamic interaction.Finally,it is indicated that considering the dynamic interaction of soil-pile-bridge structure can amplify the seismic responses of this continuous bridge,and amplification effect of the third model is greater than the second one.But the interaction has little influence on ratio of isolation,so without consider the interaction of soil-pile-bridge will not lead to too large estimation of the isolation efficiency.
