Experiment Study on a Model of Lapping Shear Wall Transfer Structure

Based on the research of lapping column transfer structure,the concept of lapping shear wall transfer structure is brought forward,which is suitable for the design of vertical discontinuous shear walls in tall buildings.A static experiment study on the transfer structure with 1/5 scale is presented in this paper.The experiment results and relative analysis are revealed the damage development process in transfer bracket under reversed cyclic loading.The seismic behavior of the model is testified by the experiment result.The experiment provides a set of reference values for the research and reinforcement design of similar transfer structure.
