Study on Design Method and Construction Measure of RC Frame Structure with Slot in Beam-end-slab

Slot in beam-end-slab can eliminate the reinforcement on rigidity and bearing capacityof beam ends, thus, the mechanism of ‘strong-column-weak-beam'can be achieved by this method. in this paper,the rational linear stiffness ratio of beam with slot in beam-end-slab to column and the construction measure of slot are discussed,and the finite element models are established and analyzed. On the base of these,the advices for design method of RC frame structure with slot in beam-end-slab are suggested.
