Study on the Lateral loading Capacity and Lateral Stiffness of Composite Masonry Wall Supported on R/C Frame Beam or Wall Beam
Wu Ruifeng et al.
The lateral loading capacity and lateral stiffness of composite masonry wall supported on R/C frame beam or longitudinal wall beam would be decreased due to the deformation of the beams. This phenomenon is important for the masonry building supported by lower R/C frames when the lateral stiffness ratio would be effected the seismic performance of this type of buildings. In this paper, the lateral loading capacity and stiffness of second storey and third storey composite masonry wall are studied and some commentaries are given.
