A NEW METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF ANISOTROPIC THICK PLATE ON ELASTIC FOUNDATION

The bending analysis of thick plate on elastic foundation is a problem which interests scholars and engineers ail the time. In this paper, the anisotropic thick plate on Winkler foundation and plate raff foundation are analyzed by using the step analytic method. By this method, the higher order equations including any higher order terms of the transverse coordinate can be established without increasing the number of the primary unknown functions.Compare with the thick plate theory available, the presented method possesses some advantages such as fewer unknown functions, the easiness of establishing the basic equations and calculation,and the higher precisionof the solution
