NUMERRICAL STUDY OF DYNAMIC COMPACTED FOR GRAVEL FOUNDATION USING PARTICLE FLOW METHOD

The particle flow distinct element method is used to analyze the effect of the dynamic compaction for a gravel soil foundation.The dynamic hysteretic damping,the contact stiffness of the particles and the sharp of the hammer for compaction are considered in the simulation of dynamic compaction.Based on the variation of the porosity of a gravel soil foundation,the feasibility of numerical simulation for the dynamic compaction process of a gravel soil foundation is discussed.
