Zhang Heming Ke Yinglin Cheng Yaodong Zhejiang University  
A new method for line projection intersection calculation of parametric surfaces is presented. Based on the principles of perturbation, this algorithm translates the complicated intersection process into a series of simple calculations in parametric perturbation, mapping, judgement and comparison. Some practical applications show that the algorithm is fast, reliable and precise. It has been successfully, used in measurement modeling and NC machining quality analysis of complex surfaces.
