THE INDEX TABLE METHOD TO IMPLEMENT INTEGRAL CONNECTION OF GRAPHIC SEGMENTS IN RECOGNITION OF ENGINEERING DRAWINGS

By building two interrelated index tables and using certain searching and comparison methods, the paper proposes an algorithm to realize the connection of graphic segments possessing identical attributes. The algorithm reduces a large amount of short vector segments resulting from vector tracing and realizes the integral description for whole graphic primitives.
