Parametric Design for Standard Parts Based on Correlation Relations

Parametric design methods of geometric modeling are investigated. A method of parametric design for standard parts based on correlation relations is proposed. In order to achieve parametric design of standard parts, correlation among components is built using association parameters. A parametric design process of tapered roller bearing is given based on CATIA, which verifies the feasibility of the method.
