The Development of JC-1 Precision Goniometer

A high precision, modular, multi-function goniometer is presented in thepaper. Its uncertainty during dynamic measurement is less than 0.19". Theinstrument is applicable to angular measurement, grating measurement and refrac-tive indexes measurement of optical materials etc. During refractive index measure-ment,the minimal deflection angle can be found and the apex angle of samplecan be measured automatically by the unit, and the results can be printed out.
