An Investigation on Automatic Search Mechanism in Quasi Linear Region for Optical Disk Focusing

Linear region automatic search beforehand is an important function of focusing servo system for various kinds of optical disk system .A concrete description of the automatic search mechanism in quasi linear region for optical disk focusing is proposed in the paper on the basis of analyzing of the existing automatic search method beforehand in linear region. The method fully applies the positive and negative feedback characteristics of the error signal curves in optical disk focusing ,so it is a simple, stable and reliable automatic search method.
