Spectrum-analyzing laser Doppler anemometry signal processor based on DSP

For improving signal processing speed in Laser Doppler Anemometry (LDA) system to obtain higher measure precision and real-time detection, a LDA signal processor using DSP as spectrum-analyzing processor was described based on hardware frame, transmission strategy and trial results. This processor, which introduced technologies of adjusting AD converter, sampled datum compression and DMA transmission, utilized FFT and Phase-difference spectrum correction method to acquire the Doppler frequency fD corresponding to velocity. The measurement of simulated voltage signal in logarithm mode of frequency conversion and turnplate confirms feasibility of this signal processor, which can be used for real-time detection in 7MHz display sample frequency and 0.3ms speed display interval
