The Investigation on the Vibration Resistance of the Optical Head in Optical Disk

The focus servo errors in the optical head caused by the optical disk axial whipping and optical disk base vibration are analyzed in the paper.The mathematical model is proposed and their frequency response characteristics are obtained.A miniature vibration isolating system without resonance peak within the range of 5 ̄2000Hz is designed.The experiments prove that the optical disk has reached up to 3.5 g(g =9.8m/s 2) and the shock proof capacity of the optical disk has reached 20 g within the above frequency range.
