Adaptive Correction of the Phase Aberrations on Laser Resonator by Using a Modal Deformable Mirror

Based on the Zernike polynomials,this paper presents an adaptive correction theory of laser resonator phase aberrations by using a modal deformable mirror with 3 freedoms.The open loop transfer function and the system stability are analyzed.The results of the close loop computer simulation show that this system can compensate the dynamic phase aberration up to 90% for the phase disturbances within the frequency range of 0 ̄10Hz.
