Computing the bounds for the minimum eigenvalue of a nonsingular M-matrix is an important part in the theory of matrices. It is more practical value if the bounds of the minimum eigenvalue are expressed as a function of the element of a nonsingular M-matrix which is easy to calculate. New bounds for the minimum eigenvalue of a nonsingular M-matrix were obtained by constructing two convergent sequences. The method can easily and tightly get the better two-sided bounds. Numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness by comparing with the relevant conclusions.
