An Approximate Formula Calculating the Maximum Field Intensity in the Mixture in a Uniform Field

An approximate formula calculating the maximum field intensity in the mixture in a uniform field is derived. It shows the maximum field intensity vary with the permittivity and volume fraction. The maximum field intensity calculated using this formula is compared with those obtained with the dipole model and the finite-element method, the calculated results show that the formula is acceptable.
