A New Type of Resonance Grounding Device

Based on the analysis of performance of three kinds of arc extinction coil and consideration of equipment selection in 10 kV grounding devices in Qidong substation. It is proposed that the automatic arc extinction device using high short circuit impedance transformer has the advantage of simple structure, perfect performance and high reliability. It can be widely used in engineering.
