Study of an intra-surgery rapid diagnosis method based on full-field optical coherence tomography

The computer-aided intra-surgery rapid diagnosis is of great importance for clinic practice.In this work,the tissue characteristics of optical tomographic images obtained by full-field optical coherence tomography(FFOCT)are first analyzed in order to determine targets to be identified.An automatic diagnosis method of optical tomographic images obtained by FFOCT system is then proposed by using digital image processing technology.Finally,we obtain onion epidermal cell tomographic images using FFOCT system set up in our laboratory and test the capability of the method,and a comparison with other similar recognition methods is carried out to demonstrate the accuracy and speed of this method.The method supplies a new approach for the intra-surgery rapid diagnosis applications of FFOCT images.
