Magnetic nanoparticle had become more and more important in analytical chemistry, bioscience and medicine due to its excellent magnetic property.Magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer is a new polymer, which has magnetic response characteristic. This molecularly imprinted polymer has specific molecular recognition sites, and also can be separated and recovered easily under the extrinsic magnetic field. The research progress on magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer in recent years was reviewed in this paper. The problem and development trend in this area were also put forward.
