Progress in the Self-Assembled Morphologies of the Block Copolymers in Bulk

A series of morphologies based on the self-assembly of diblock and triblock copolymers in the bulk are summarized in this article.They include(1) the gyriod morphologies formed from diblock copolymers,(2) some morphologies formed from triblock copolymers,such as spherical domains in a CsCl-type structure,cocentric spherical domains in the bcc structure,lamella-sphere,cylinder-sphere,lamella-cylinder,coaxial cylinder,cylindrical domains in a hexagonal lattice structure,lamella-cylinder,lamella-cylinderⅡ,ordered tricontinuous double-diamond,core-shell double gyroid,lamellar,(3) some complex morphologies,such as mushroom,sphere on sphere,knitting-pattern,et al.Furthermore,their advance in the future was also introduced briefly.
