Progress of Protein Molecular imprinting in Carrier Materials Form

The separated cost of modern biological products is very high.Molecular imprinting technology with its excellent operational stability provides a new approach to separate protein and to purify protein.Protein molecular imprinting technology has been a focus for international chemists working in the area of molecular recognition,since the specificity of protein molecular imprinting polymers to the target protein is a challenging work and protein molecular imprinting polymers have also extremely applicable value.In this paper,the review focuses on the carrier materials used in protein molecular imprinting technology.The characters of different carrier materials are summarized.Some familiar carrier materials are introduced,such as silica,synthetic resins,polymer films,mica and gel. And here cyclodextrins and chitosans are introduced as new similar carrier materials.The applications of protein molecular imprinting techology and its limitations are also discussed.
