The deradicalization counter-terrorism strategy in Singapore originates after the al-Qaeda attack on the United States in 2001. Its main terrorist attacks included the terrorist group Jemaah Islamiyah(JI) and the "Islamic State"("IS"). The main objectives of the anti-terrorism strategy include the education and transformation of extremists and militants, the work of deradicalization at the social level, and examples for international deradicalization strategies. Singapore's deradicalization counter-terrorism strategy includes both behavior and ideology two sides. Specifically, it is conducted in two areas: deradicalization of violent extremists and deradicalization in the social environment. Singapore's deradicalization program is generally successful, but there are also some lessons that we should learn from.
