Field Experimental Study on Soil Water and Nitrogen Distributions under Surge Flow Irrigation

Field experiments for border irrigation and surge flow irrigation under different fertilizing methods were performed to analyze the spatial distributions of soil water and nitrate nitrogen,and evaluate the distribution uniformity.The results showed that the distribution difference of soil water was small under surge flow irrigation,especially in the surface soil layer.The distribution uniformity of nitrate nitrogen under fertigation was significantly higher than that under broadcast fertilizer.The advantages were highlighted under surge flow fertigation.
