A quantitative evaluation and study of diffusion environment of agri-technique at country level in the Northwestern China

The diffusion environment of agri-technique is a synthesis of various external factors that affect the spatial diffusion of agricultural technology in a certain temporal-spatial scope.It has a series of features,such as regionality,heterogeneity,dynamics,systematics and so on.Because of these features,the diffusion environment of agri-technique not only affects the direction and speed of spatial diffusion of agricultural technology,even becomes obstacle of spatial diffusion and affects the actual results finally.Following systemic principle,scientific principle and reliability principle and based on existing research results,the paper establishes the evaluation index system which includes 13 indexes from the four aspects that affect the spatial diffusion of agricultural technology such as the natural environment(soil,light and heat),agricultural input and output,agricultural science and technology information and cultural quality of the farmers.The paper applies SPSS software and GIS technology,using factor analysis method to make a quantitative evaluation and analysis of diffusion environment of agri-technique at country level in the northwestern China.The KMO of 0.756 and cumulative variance contribution rate of 74.638% show that the factor analysis method is a suitable method for quantitative analysis.the conclusions are as follows: the factors that mainly influence the county's diffusion environment of agri-technique are intensive scale of rural land,development level of agriculture,social culture environment,technical information environment and natural environment,their weights are respectively 31.791%,19.009%,14.552% and 9.286%.The diffusion environment of agri-technique level is universal lower and the scores of 55.4 % county-levels are negative;they have the characteristics of spatial agglomeration,and the higher score area concentrates in western Inner Mongolia,northern Xinjiang and Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province.From the provincial level,the highest score is Inner Mongolia,being followed by Xinjiang,Shaanxi,Ningxia,Gansu and Qinghai.The spatial distribution disciplines of each appraisal factor which affect the diffusion environment have different characteristics,the higher level counties of intensive scale of rural land,development level of agriculture are mainly distributed in some parts of Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang;the county's social culture environment are overall poor in the northwestern China;the high scores in technical information environment are mainly in the urban counties and surrounding areas;the distribution of the natural environment is consistent with the Northwest average annual precipitation and annual mean temperature distribution.The policies that improve the diffusion environment of agri-technique at country level in the northwestern China are as follows:(1) To Guide the rural land transfer and promotion of agricultural intensive management;(2) To Strengthen farmers training,promotion of agricultural knowledge and to improve the quality of the farmers;(3) To combine of market and government and improve the agricultural extension system;(4) To promote information construction in rural areas,broadening channels of information and promotion of technical exchange.
