EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON NMR CHARACTERISTICS OF SODIUM CHLORIDE AQUEOUS SOLUTION WITH DIFFERENT CONCENTRATION

In order to know nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)characteristics of sodium chloride aqueous solution,the transverse relaxation time and the signal intensity of the sodium chloride solution,which concentration is in the range of 0%~24%,were measured by using CPMG spin echo method.The relationship between concentration and the transverse relaxation time and the relationship between the concentration and the signal strength were analyzed.The results show that the transverse relaxation time decreases with the increasing of the concentration,and there is a nice linear relationship between them.NMR signal intensity per unit mass of sodium chloride aqueous solution decreases with the increasing of the concentration,there is a nice linear relationship between them as well.These two relationships can be applied to measure the concentration of sodium chloride solution by NMR.
