Fang Jiyi (Department of Geology)
The systematic studies on lithologies, structures, textures andassemblage of fossies of carbonatites in Guilin, Guangxi, China, for thefirst time in this region, comfirm the existence of both high-density andlow-density calcareous clastic turbidites in upper-Devonian sediments ofsea-basin facies (Sanli formation). They are caused to move by earthguakesand storms respectively and to be transported from the calcreous sedimentsof the platform and the slope of the sea-basin.
