Ideal models of geochemical anomaly zoning and predicting indications for Longtoushan gold deposit

Longtoushan gold deposit,a hydrothermal-metasomatic deposit,occurs at a breccia zone in rhyolitic porphyry of late Yanshanian. Based on the study of variety of axial distribution features of trace elements,hydrocarbon and mercury gas in different levels and geological bodies,the zoning of primary halo has been summed up. It shows the exhibition feature of hydrocarbons,Sb( the longer forward part of ore body) → As( the head part of ore body) → Hg,Au,Ag,Pb( the center to the upper part of ore body) → Cu,W,Mo, Zn( The lower part of ore body) → Mn,Ni,Ti,Co,V( the tail part of ore body). The ore-forming composition is complex in this area. There are multi-stages of pulsation in metallogenesis. According to the zoning of ore-forming elements,it is possibleto find existence of gold ore bodies in depth at this area. An ideal mode for geochemical anomaly zoning is established,and the prospecting indications for exploration are summarized in Longtoushan gold deposit.
