Structure optimization and modification of intercooler based on CFD technology

In order to improve the heat dissipation and flow performance of multifunctional agricultural vehicle's intercooler,flow velocity,temperature and pressure distribution of inside air were studied by CFD simulation.Based on the verified CFD simulation model,the effect of guide vane's structure parameters on intercooler's working performance was explored.Kriging approximate model about uniformity coefficient and guide vane's structure parameters was built by using Isight,and optimizing the approximate model by using simulated annealing algorithm,taking uniformity coefficient as the optimization target.The results show that when diversion angle is 80° and structural parameter(L/L_0)is 0.25,the optimal uniformity coefficient and heat dissipation can be achieved.After modification,the outlet temperature of intercooler reduces by 6.3℃,and pressure loss reduces by 2.37 kPa,which improves the engine power and emission performance.The research results can provide references for further structure design and parameter optimization of intercooler chamber.
