Relativity Analysis of Pedestrian Head Injuries and the Headform to Bonnet Top Test Method

In this paper, the reasons and rules of pedestrian head injuries are researched through statistical analysis of pedestrian traffic accident, which are used to analyze the relativity between pedestrian head injuries the headform to bonnet top test method. The test results show that and the pre-crash movement of the pedestrian has a significant effect on the result of the crash,and that there is great difference between collision orientations of current test method and real-life pedestrian accident.Pedestrian heads are most likely to impact onto windscreen,A-pillar and ground or some places around these areas,so it's necessary to do more research works to analyze the regularity of these kinds of collisions,and to include these conclusions into EEVC test method of the pedestrian headform collision.
