Key Techniques and Mechanics Analysis of Construction Control for Suspension Bridge Main Beam Replacement

Targeting at suspension bridge main beam replacement,this paper,with a suspension bridge in certain mountainous area is adopted as example,analyzed and suggested the key techniques of construction control for suspension bridge main beam replacement. Analysis and verification were made in view of mechanics,it is believed that overall measurement before construction,determined original bridge dead load,constraints between stiffening beam sections and timing determination,cable saddle unlock and cable tower offset determination,determination of adjustable boom length,the main cable bearing capacity,etc.are substantial to construction control of main beam replacement.
