Study on the Connection Mode between the Half-Mountain Bridges and Girders on Large Longitudinal Slope

Aiming at the problem of relative sliding between the end of girder and cover beam,a semi-elastic semi-rigid connection method was proposed which adopted the rigid connection at the downhill end and the elastic connection at the uphill end.ABAQUS software was used to establish the finite element numerical model to analyze the failure characteristics and deformation characteristics of the structure.And the stress conditions of girder plates with different slopes were analyzed in combined with construction practices to furnish anchoring reinforcement.The results have showed that the connecting method is reliable,simple and easy to construct.It is suitable to widen and strengthen the structure of the half-mountain bridge on large longitudinal slopes.
