The Solubility Parameters and Solution Properties of Polytriethyltin Methacrylate

The three dimensional solubility parameters and solution properties of polytriethyltin methaerylate (PTETM) have been studied and determined. The investigation results are listed below:1. The intrinsic viscosity method was used for determining the three dimensional solubility parameters of PTETM. The results are as follows:σ= 18.8(J/cm~3)~(1/2) δ_d= 16.8(J/cm~3)~(1/2);δ_p = 6.28(J/cm~3)~(1/2); δ_h = 5.73(J/cm~3)~(1/2).2. The MHS eq. of PTETM both in THF and toluene have been evaluated as follows:3. The K_θ parameter and Flory's characteristic ratio C_∞ of PTETM were evaluated:K_θ = 0.015; C_∞ = 9.4The relationships between δ and the structure of polytrialkyltin methacrylates and the structure effect of the chain flexibility were discussed.
